Description: Arturo Romero Argueta (from the Octavio Ortiz community) is the coordinator of ‘Comandos de Salvamento’, an emergency group set up to help save vulnerable people when there are floods. He has witnessed huge changes of the river's flow over the past few years. Sand and debris brought down river by the floods means that each year they have to re-plot the river as sand bars shift from one side to the other. Last year the river took out around 6 meters of one of the community's sugar cane fields. Depicting the day to day lives of people affected by climate change in El Salvador.
